Hot Chicken Soup Recipe

  • Black pepper powder: ½ tsp or to taste
  • Red chilli powder: ½ tsp
  • Tomato paste: 1 ½ tsp
  • Soy sauce: 1 ½ tsp
  • Vinegar: 1 ½ tbsp
  • Corn flour: 3 tbsp
  • Carrot: ½ cup (julienne)
  • Cabbage: ½ cup (julienne)
  • Bell pepper: ½ cup (coloured)
  • Egg white: 3 

Method to prepare hot chicken soup:

The following steps should be taken into consideration to make hot chicken soup:

  1. In a pan, add butter and let it melt.
  2. Then add mushrooms and garlic. Saute them for 2 minutes.
  3. Also, add chicken and cook until the chicken changes colour.
  4. Then add chicken broth and water gradually.
  5. Mix it well and bring it to a boil.
  6. Add salt, black pepper powder and red chilli powder and mix it well.
  7. After adding all the powders, add vinegar and soy sauce and let it simmer for 5 to 10 minutes.
  8. Make a corn flour slurry by adding 1 cup water to the corn flour.
  9. Add the cornflour slurry to the soup gradually while stirring.
  10. Then add your carrot, cabbage and bell peppers and cook for approximately 2 to 3 minutes.
  11. Then add your egg whites gradually while stirring.
  12. Let everything cook for 2 minutes after adding the egg white.

And voila, your hot chicken soup is ready to be served. 

Add some chilli sauce on top, and enjoy!
