Lemon & Cucumber Detox Water

We all have known since childhood that drinking more water is helpful to keep the human body healthy and the world’s best drink ever “Water” is beneficial for our skin & gives us good looking, but…  People might get bored drinking simple water. So here we are to introduce you all to a new way of making water more healthy & beneficial for your heart.

 

I use detox water because people are more familiar with it and know about its benefits, as our body (liver) naturally detoxifies itself on a daily basis by using Detox Water as fluids helping to flush out wastage of your body and keeping your digestive system healthy.

However, there is a more natural alternative.. and this is it :).


 

For Healthy life, we should drink at least eight glasses (200ml) of fluid a day; however, If you want to be more active or live in a hot climate, then you may need more. The most important thing is that tea and coffee do count towards your daily fluid intake, but not many people know about this. The easiest way to know whether you are drinking well is to check the colour of your urine; If it’s pale straw, you are drinking enough, and if it’s darker, you need to drink more.

 

This is not an easy and tasty way to drink more simple water. You can make it yummy and healthy by adding natural ‘zing’ to your water that helps you to drink more & flush out your body! And To help reduce the calories you may consume from fizzy and other sweetened drinks, read my favourite water-infused flavour combination!

 

I got an idea to write a blog on this healthy and yummy “detox water” recipe because I got a positive response from someone else by offering this drink, and the response was excellent that encouraged me to share my recipe with all of you through my blog. From kitchen to a blog post, here I come! ????

 

About this Recipe

  • This recipe is a simple recipe just related to health and for adding more favour in simple water.

 

  • To reduce weight through detox water, you must follow the other recipe specially made for you because this is not for weight loss.

 

  • This detox water and any that contains on lemon or mint. You are supposed to use this in the morning, giving you energy and kick start a day with positive vibes and also helping to boost the metabolism.

 

  • This simple and instant detox water is also healthy for your skin problem. It helps to reduce the toxins from your skin pores.

Lemon, Mint & Cucumber Water (Detox Water)

 

Fresh & Healthy Ingredients

. 1/2 cucumber

. One lemon

. a few sprigs of mint

. freshwater

 

Easy Peasy Instructions

Wash and slice the cucumber & lemon and rinse the mint

Pop them into a water jug

Fill the jug with water, mix and leave to steep overnight in the fridge… you can keep topping up the jug with more water for a few days until you need to change the fruits/herbs!

What is the best time to drink detox water?

Consuming the detox water is more beneficial in the morning with an empty stomach. That will give you energy and positivity to start a day.

 

How much Detox water needs to take per day?

You can use this water three times a day if you don’t want to lose weight. If you are concerned about losing weight, consume one litre of water every 20kgs.

Can we store the Detox Water for a long?

Only store the detox water just for two to five days. After this time, the adding ingredient loses the flavour; a fresh one is more beneficial to use.

Lemons are a natural cleanser and are great for digestion, cucumbers help to enhance hydration, and the mint adds a lovely refreshing flavour!
